Clearwater River Canoe Trail

I had the opportunity to go on a beautiful little canoeing trip with M.O.E. The Clearwater River Canoe Trail is a unique trip in Seeley the starts off as a canoe trip & ends with a hike.
The canoe trip takes you along the Clearwater River which empties into the Seeley Lake. The views are beautiful for the entire trip which offers awesome views of both the Swan & Mission Mountain ranges.
It had been pouring down rain all morning but stopped long enough for us to make the entire canoe trip & hike back to our vehicle.

Bear Drive

Bears are sacred on the Flathead Indian Reservation. Since no bear hunting is allowed, there is a high bear population in a small area.
Kristin used to live on the res and has an amazing knowledge of the old logging roads so we take her truck around the mountains for a couple days in the late spring to see what we can see. Enjoy the pics.

Stress Less

Skyler & I once again headed to the University Center the week before finals to help students relax about their upcoming testing. She loves the attention from the students and I love the socialization as well.
We were accompanied this year by a golden retriever & a mini aussie. As you can see, we also do therapy work for the dogs, not just the people, b/c they also get very stressed in their day to day lives.

LA Live

Kristin & her family invited me to Los Angeles for a few days to hit up a concert w/ Kristin & her sister, Ali. Since Allegiant Air flies so cheap from Missoula to LA I couldn't pass up a trip to Southern California. So Kristin & I boarded a plane from snowy Missoula & headed so sunny LA.
I had met all of Kristin's family before, but only for short amounts of time. Their hospitality made me feel like I had never left their houses a day in my life. Thanks again guys for showing me the sights & sounds of LA & the surrounding areas!
I was there for only 3 full days but while I was there I: puked in a celebrity's bushes, star mapped, saw the Hollywood sign, walked the star walk, put my hands and feet in the cement in front of the Chinese theater, hiked to 2 separate waterfalls, stuck my toes in the Pacific ocean, saw Lifehouse & Chris Daughtry in concert, met up w/ some good friends, & so much more. I'm not sure we could of packed any more activities into the trip w/out losing insane amounts of sleep.
