Handsome Bookworm and the Bastard Cowboy

Well, since I've posted everyone else's stop motion projects, I thought it would only be fair to post my roommate Cameron's as well. Cameron is also in the photojournalism department with Christopher and is a talented story teller with his photos. This story features Chris as the cowboy and our friend Danny Catena (who directed Morning Soundtrack, see below!). Enjoy!

A Weird Way of Looking at It

My friend Danny is also in the stop motion class with Christopher. Although I play no role in this flick, they did use my bedroom so I thought it would be an interesting way for everyone back east to get a tour of it. They moved some stuff around for the movie, but you'll get the gist of it.

A Touch of Grey

This week was finals week for Christopher who has been taking classes for winter session. His final for stop motion was to complete a full video and incorporate sound. Being a photo journalism major he decided to take it one step further and use his knowledge of photoshop in his project. As you watch his video keep in mind what it takes to make a stop motion video. His video is comprised of several thousand single photos put together, not to mention the hours of editing to bring things to color photo by photo. I hope you enjoy! But be wary, the star of the movei is quite lovable.

Pacman's Revenge

Christopher's been taking a stop animation course over winter session so I thought I'd share his amazing first project. We're setting off tomorrow to work on his final project.

Go Fetch!

Back in October I was hired on by a local company called Go Fetch! Their 3rd store opened just in time for Black Friday. Not long after the calls for training started and I've been busy ever since. I am taking this semester off to see if I can make it work. If not, I'll gain my residency in Montana and will have a MUCH cheaper tuition bill come fall semester.

Since I live "so far away" I thought I'd share some pictures of the new store for all back east to see. Enjoy :-)

He got me flowers...

Sometimes the best things in life are those we didn't know were coming to us...
He got me flowers "just because."
Wether a complete stranger, life-long friend, or family member, what have you done to put a smile on someone's face today?

Happy New Years & then some

New Years came and went pretty quietly for me this year. Christopher came back from Lancaster just in time to ring in the new year with me in Missoula.
On the 2nd I flew back east to Pennsylvania where I was greeted by many familiar faces to have a little bit of Christmas with my family. My brother & his family, my seester & hers, as well as Gommy & Wally's families came down to my parent's house as well. We spent the weekend stuffing out faces and unwrapping many, many presents. Jose was finally inducted into the Groff family with a rousing game of Spoons. & in our family, it's not a game unless blood is drawn.
